Chico's story of the day. Today Chico went to the groomer who discovered an issue. Next stop the vet. $248 + Meds later, Chico is ok, but has a big pimple near his neck. Vet said he may have got it from another dog. #dogsofspoutible

Chico's story of the day. On Chico's walk he stopped at Bob's house. Bob is 91 years old and almost everyday Chico stops to say hi and gets some belly rubs from Bob. As it is fall, Bob was not out on his balcony today as it was too cold. Chico sat at the end of Bob's driveway. #dogsofspoutible

Chico's story of the day. I had such great fun at the park today. I rolled in the grass in the park and I even wiggled down the slope on my back. Then I get home and quicker than me running around in the park I find myself in the shower with my doggie googles. Who knew?

Chico's story of the day: Today I went out for my normal walk after Moms work. Then I came home and went to the living room and Mom started cheering and jumping up and down. Dog Parents are very weird. #DogsOfSpoutible #InditmentDay

Chico's story of the day. Mom took me on my evening walk after it rained. Got to sniff a lot in the park. Back at home Mom got on the treadmill thingy. I am not pleased with this turn of events as she is supposed to get her steps in with me. You can see by my face my feelings on the matter.

Chico's story of the day. Today, Mom was supposed to be home by noon. She finally came home at 3:45. I waited for her by the door with all my little doggie legs crossed. So happy when I saw her my tail nearly fell off from all the wagging. It felt like she took forever........

Chico's story of the day. - Today Mom took me on my walk a bit later than normal. Mom told me that I was really smart and I know the way to the park and back by myself and could walk myself. She does not know it, but I am making sure she get her steps in everyday. #DogsOfSpoutible

Chico's story of the day. Today I relaxed while Mom worked. I got to go to the park but I stopped on my way to get a belly rub from my neighbour Bob who is 90 years young. I love stopping to see Bob. After seeing Bob, I went to my park where I was able to sniff all around.

Chico's story of the day: Today there was a very loud storm and I had to protect Mom by sitting on her until the noise stopped. She does not know, but I am a little afraid of the noise, but I did my job and protected Mom. Later we went to the park for my walk.

Chico's story of the day.
Today, I went to see the vet for what Mom called my annual check-up. Well, besides telling me I am a bit on the chubby side and need to watch my weight, the vet stuck me three times with shots! It hurt at first, but they gave me a treat after. Everything is forgiven.

Chico story of the day. Tonight, I heard thunder and became frightened. I went to sit on my Mom's lap and had her pet me until I feel better.

After Mom and Dad went shopping for stuff for the basement and worked putting up something called shelves in the storage area, I FINALLY got to go on my walk to the park at about 7:30pm.

I had to fry up some meat I had and put it over the hotdogs with the meds to finally get him to take his meds.

So, now I am on round 3 of trying to get this small dog to take his medication. I then cooked the hotdogs and then waited for them to cool a bit and put the pieces inside the hot dogs. I put the mixture into his bowl and he goes over to smell it as now he is on to me.

Did he gobble them up like every other time....nope. He smelled them then looked up at us like "Did you really think I would eat that after you put those meds in there...Not happening."

Now starts the struggle to get Chico his medication, which as previously stated, is not cheap. So next come out the hot dogs. We carefully cut the hot dog and cut the tablet up and carefully put the tablet pieces into the hotdog. We give him the pieces expecting him to gobble them up.

The little guy ate all the cheese and spit back out the tablet. He looked at us like he was saying...."You thought you were smart to put that thing in the cheese......Nope, not today".

Today I went to pick up Chico's flea and tick medicine at the vet. Cost way more that I think is reasonable for 5 months of medication. After that shock I get home and try to give the tablet thingy to Chico in a piece of cheese.
