2 Threaded Spouts

There is an amazing canyon in east #Iceland that is lined with basalt columns, and the water flowing through is green or turquoise (depending on the time of year). It's called Stuðlagil (which translates as "basalt canyon").

Back in #Iceland for a couple of weeks, driving around the island. First day: mostly rain, some sleet & snow, & eventually some sun before the fog set in! One of my favourite things to photograph there is the waves & the beautiful turquoise waters :)

Next up on my Tasmanian wildlife posting is a forester kangaroo - they can reach 2 metres tall. I thought they only had wallabies & some smaller species (called pademelons) but they have kangaroos too, at least on Maria Island. Love his expression!
