Between the silly ballot design that cost Gore votes, the hanging chads, & the loss of 10’s of thousands of votes to Nader the election was lost & the Court rubber stamped it while Bush was ahead. Nobody really knows who won Florida that year, but Dems managed to lose it as they could in 2024.

This may help. The partisan breakdown shows how media consumption impacts views. Only 14% GOP now believe, down from 27% that 45 was responsible for 1/6 attack compared to 86% of Dems & 56% of Indy’s. This is blindness by MAGAs, egged on by right-wing media that is all to willing to rewrite history.

Nicely done analysis. Same strategy would need to happen in other red states, like Florida, where for the last several cycles the opposite has happened. Dem margins in Miami-Dade & Palm Beach have shrunk, while margins in rural counties have become even redder. Good luck going forward.

That's the talking points that are not substantiated by the data, or actual results. The tax cuts & preferential treatment benefit almost exclusively the 1% despite the fairy tale that it helps lift everyone. It doesn't. It allows the wealthy to skirt their responsibility to other Americans.
