Meanwhile, over at the other place, Twitter is suspending official public health agencies.

AfricaCDC is a public health agency of the African Union (africacdc.org), and is doing essential work.

Just followed some awesome folks. Having two things can go a long way in making a good first impression:

1) Have an avatar (it can be anything)
2) Have one spout - just say hi! 👋

“Protecting the vulnerable” doesn’t mean only wearing a mask when you visit higher risk people a couple times a year. It means actively fighting for their right to participate in society every day. Leaders are not “protecting the vulnerable,” they are discriminating against them.

I know everyone is eager for us to release Android and iOS apps, and they are coming. Just remember Spoutible is only 18 days old, and we have to make sure the platform is stable before adding significantly more users.

For those of you who follow covid wastewater levels in your area, have you also noticed that peaks have continually reduced in amplitude with each successive wave after OG omicron? Very few are taking any precautions now but it hasn't really impacted the numbers seen in wastewater.

Same. I'd be happier to stay on one platform and do not want give anymore to the bird app owner.

I'm in the Southwest, our covid wastewater had been decreasing as XBB.1.5 struggled to gain dominance over BQ.1.1. Now, it looks like our covid viral wastewater levels are going back up. We have 2 increasing measurements but not sure if it's going to continue.
