The internet has made me lazy. Today I needed to know the parts of a horse, so instead of retrieving a reference book from my library, I just typed parts of a horse into google.

Hello waterworld. It's a lovely autumn day here in Scotland. By that I mean p*ssing it down one minute and weak sunshine the next.
Today's WIP has reunited my main characters after they got separated, by means of the Roman army, the Wild Hunt and a steam-powered bus running out of stuff to burn.

I have just worked out the motivations of the main drivers of my plot in Walk the Winter Road.

I’ve just discovered the word ‘scientist’ was coined in 1834 to describe Mary Somerville, replacing the term ‘man of science’. It's so odd the things you don't know.

All this month I have bought books from Amazon. They reward me by putting one measley line of best sellers on my landing page. Then I buy one little thing that wasn't a book, and they have removed my one line of books and are again advertising a lot of junk I have no interest in.
