Shot him in the yard an hour ago. He’d been terrorizing a flock of buzzards off and on all morning. The buzzards were simply trying to enjoy a dead armadillo across the highway. Zoom in to see his claws are literally dripping with blood. He snatched a piece of meat and flew to my tree. I was ready.

Can you see that price?! $2.49 EACH for a Jalapeño pepper. This is from a local grocery store in my area, It makes their $2.09/pounds onions… all of which are a pound or more, look like a bargain. SMH. Greed!

Still not sure why they do it, but it's common to see butterflies in my area resting atop grass during mornings or late evening. I assume like most living things they are using the sun to help fuel. Here, a yellow sulfur warms on the #grass in late evening, early March. #dailypicturetheme

Look at the size of this Hawk! The sheer thickness. It's the largest I've seen. Its silhouette caught my eye from prob a mile. I am easily more than 2football fields away in this uncropped image (750mm focal length). Easily an 8+' wingspan when it flew away in this just after sunrise image.
