I helped a church board think through their approach to social justice because they were concerned it wasn't "biblical."

So, I just showed them that throughout Scripture how often justice and righteousness are mentioned together (a lot!). You cannot be righteous without also seeking justice.

Even though I grew up in climates where it snows, seeing snow in SoCal this weekend was pretty cool.

One of my courses is a certificate course (which is different from my typical masters or doctoral level courses--and attracts a different type of student).

I love how students in this course engage material and ask questions differently when their goals are not simply about a final grade.

Today, as I shopped with my two daughters, I realized I have absolutely no idea how to tell the difference between a T-shirt that is "cool" and one that is "cringe."

Oh, and that regular waist jeans do not exist for tween girls. They are all high rise, mom rise, or mid rise (e.g., still high).

Hello Spoutible. I'm just getting up to speed here. Typically, I'm not a prolific poster on these sort of things, but am just thankful to have an alternative to that other place that actually has some standards.
