In Fall, trees took in
that long, slow, deep
breath thru every stoma
and held it in the heartwood,
as it hardened into ice.
Storms of sleet and falling flakes,
winds bearding white
the bark, yet bark waited
for thawing songs of
nesting birds to sing,
O green exhalation of Spring!

The airy sky ... is like a prayer to what is empty,
and what is empty turns its face to us and whispers:
'I am not empty, I am open.' -Tomas Transtromer

Altho February has fewest days,
it feels like the longest month,
a last desperate Winter stand
of ice blue wind and starry darkness
against the lengthening bright
borning of morning and the sight
of departing night, clinging
a while longer to starlight.

The field still holds gold gifts,
cold and molten, from old melted
snow. Now, mirrored skies grow
in furrows cut last fall. Winter's
crop of light, reflected as
it dies in time, springs
out into the open dark with
the reaping of the night.

February continues longing for spring.
It seems the longest month.
The colder days won't go away,
and now move more slowly
from earlier dawns to later dusks.
Soon, we'll obsess about
turning our petty little
timepieces back.
All we have are pieces,
sparks of the flame.
Time crawls to thaw

I'm a friendly and generous guy,
and followed you, if I did, to say, "Hey ,that was cool." But please, follow back.

I'll wait.

I got thrown in twito for a week because I retweeted a photo of a Ukrainian family in their backyard, dead from Russian artillery. That was my offense and it was for inciting violence. Now, I understand how that would incite violence. It made me angry but if it was against the rules why did they let

I got kicked off twitter and into twitmo for a week. I was told that reposting a Ukrainian home with a dead family in the backyard was against the rules. Musk turned off Starlink phones because of a potential "WWIII." Two foreigners are manipulating many of minds of America's citizens.

The great blue heron
called us back as we
turn to go on,
We pause and listen
to what we cannot
begin to understand,
a voice like a cry,
a shadow in the ski
with the angularity
of origami.
