Look, I’m not at all optimistic about the #Rockets chances tonight. It would be unlikely even if they win tonight for HOU to still make the play-in unless they run the table and some other team make a misstep.

But I really want the Rockets to win tonight. They need this one.

Rockets lose 😔.

Thursday is the #Rockets play-in game. It doesn’t mean they will make it if they win, but if they lose they will be more or less eliminated from play-in contention (just not mathematically yet). Especially if GSW wins tonight.

A win Thursday opens their window back up a bit.

Tonight’s #Rockets game won’t fully decide if they can get into the play-in (Thursday’s game decides that) but it will go a far way to either make their lives really hard or slightly easier before their GSW matchup.

MIN is playing really well so it’s definitely an uphill battle.

I’m going to be honest (bookmark me now).

I genuinely think the Rockets can win 11 out of 16 games between this Leap Day and March 31. Including some quality wins vs at least one of Mavs, Jazz, Kings, Thunder.

February has been a tough stretch but I’m optimistic about March.

Rockets games have been frustrating recently, but I’m still watching. The Portland loss was the worst of the season so far. Hopefully they can recover next game.

Another heartbreaker for the #Rockets . I’m really just pissed off that Sengun didn’t get that deserved and-1 opportunity at the end. Regardless they had a lot of fight in them.

I hope they can take this frustration and get a W in GS. But I’m honestly not hopeful.

I was pessimistic this game vs the Lakers, but the #Rockets proved me entirely wrong. What a win! I could make a long thread but I don’t have many words. This is the start of the season I wanted to see from the start, and with extremelh quality wins. Next up G1 in-season tourney.

Really strong win by the #Rockets . They were down once this game but instead of letting it get to them they overcame the onslaught to win. Sengun played super well and Jabari had one of his best games of his young career. Games like this are so valuable. I hope Monday shows more.

Fyi in regards to game ONE of 82, some #Rockets “copium”:
- the NBA season is a marathon. There are takeaways but panicking isn’t one of them.
- this team isn’t the Celtics team that went to the Finals the year Udoka coached them. BUT that team had a slow start. Just fyi.

FYI for those who care: I haven’t been able to watch the last two #Rockets games due to work 🙃😞 I plan to catch up this weekend and early next week before the start of the NBA regular season. So hopefully this last game is more enjoyable than the Spurs loss.

I’m sad that it has come to this, but KPJ needed to be traded. I hope he is able to get to a position where he can handle his demons and justice is held.

That being said I’m happy that it wasn’t a FRP being given for the trade. OKC continues to accumulate picks they will never use 🤷🏾‍♀️

#Rockets went on to win by 10 points tonight after not having a lead since 3-0 in the first quarter.

I know Wemby wasn’t out there but the Spurs weren’t trying to “tank”.

Also I better not hear a word about certain players not playing down the stretch. This is “Accountability 2.0” culture.

The Rockets kicked the Pelicans starters a$$es tonight. It’s preseason so I won’t give it too much credit, but the team looks good from both sides of the court. It’s heartwarming.

This team has potential.

Very good preseason game by the #Rockets . The game would’ve been a full blowout if they could stop having 3-5 in game minutes of scoring droughts and made more FTs. Every rotation, even to the guys who were playing garbage minutes, looks really focused on offense and defense. Great game.

… assets to get off a mistake, when you could waive and stretch (and potentially get some relief in arbitration with *** and the league) could minimize the pain. I don’t envy the Rockets FO for the decisions being made while having to also balance the needs of the franchise.
