Speaking of Dennis Lyxzén, here was the first video I shot for INVSN.
I had only been in the country 3 months, didn't know anyone or have access to any resources.
Bought some Nanolite tubes & found a DMX tech who designed the 2nd half of the video.

ZERO is very much a "stranger in a strange land" kind of story and very much a fantastical autobiography of sorts. (And if you understand what zero represents in tarot, you'll get a bit of a hint as to who the protagonist is and the journey he sets out on.)

For those who’ve read BLACK KISS STIGMATA and/or MIDNIGHT SEASON, you know I love me some irredeemable characters with darkly tragic endings.
ZERO breaks the mold with a likable protag & an upbeat ending. Very childlike in its approach (but still very much an adult story).

More writing today on ZERO (temp title), my neurodivergent lo-fi/DIY surrealist arthouse film. I've been (literally) dreaming about this film my whole life and it's only just now coalesced into an actual story. It's the Wizard of Oz filtered through liminal space and the nightmares of a child.

I’ve always thought of myself a writer-director. It was a pair of chance emails from directors Travis Stevens and Jason Miller in 2021 that got me pursuing cinematography. Booking my first feature as a DP with A GETTYSBURG HAUNTING only further solidifies this.
