If only clean indoor air were a public health priority. Resp viruses, wildfire smoke, building materials (asbestos), gases (CO, radon), fumes from cleaning supplies, etc. all contribute to chronic illnesses. Elevated CO2 causes drowsiness, headaches, and loss of concentration. (gifted article)

Ethical/professional standards have not shamed healthcare providers into regular masking. It is baffling that self-protection is not convincing enuff. How is it possible that evidence-based practitioners are OK with unprotected exposure to their sickest patients? Self preservation shld be motivating

I've worked in HC for 40 years and always thought a) I'm unembarrassable and b) nothing grosses me out. Nope. The idea that we should be wondering whether types of clients/patients are expendable cuz it's too cumbersome to upgrade HVAC systems and provide reliable PPE is both shameful and nauseating
