Devastating news out of Chicago where a firefighter has lost three children and his wife in a fire. The Chicago Fire Department Firefighters Union - Local 2 is coming together to help cover funeral costs. Thoughts are with the firefighter and his firefighting family.

TXA&M Forest Service raised the Wildland Fire Preparedness Lvl to Level 2 due to the threat of increased wildfire activity. Preparedness Levels are planning assumptions that are dictated by fuel and weather conditions, current and expected wildfire activity and suppression resource availability.
