Agreed. I believe in the team's continued focus on adding features that encourage communication and minimize harm. It goes hand in hand with building an environment that enables communities to sprout up and thrive with new members who stick around

In fairness, this article on the AP News site is paid content provided via a service called AccessWire. The content is presumably written by or on behalf of the Spoutible team, not the AP - the linked page has a disclaimer that explicitly states that AP news staff were not involved in its creation

Just for transparency, the content is from AccessWire, which pays to distribute press releases via the AP site. The page itself states that this is paid content, and no AP news staff was involved in its creation.

Slight correction if I may: it's not an AP article, but a paid press release from a company called Access Wire, which is fed into the AP site.

Regardless, 1 year into this growth journey is a wonderful milestone to celebrate

I also assumed it was written by the AP, but it's actually a paid press release from a firm called Access Wire. I missed it at first, but after reading, I had to check the byline, and the disclaimer was there right at the top.

Regardless, one year and growing is a great milestone to celebrate

It reads like a press release because it actually is a press release. It's from a paid feed by a company called Access Wire.

I also thought it sounded way too rah-rah for the AP, so I scrolled back to the top and spotted the paid content disclaimer
