I'm in the UK (guessing you're in the US as Spoutible is very US!) and I feel that The Police had peaked here by that point - they were everywhere 2 albums before that. Every Breath You Take WAS everywhere though for certain, but UK TV/radio was all about Duran Duran, Culture Club and Wham! at this

For those who don't know this is Boris Johnson and the original cartoon said "stop immigration so we can take care of our own". It's a common phrase among older conservative voters in the UK (maybe elsewhere too). Boris Johnson is very supportive of Ukraine, so this change doesn't make sense. 1/2
