Former Prez Carter on Palestine: extremely insightful and while written well before the current crisis, applies very well and explains but does not condone the violence of Hamas.
Found on Xitter and too good to be left there.

SECOND ANNIVERSARY TODAY (22 Sept) since a clever surgeon, assisted by a robot, removed a cancer from my bowel & created a different route for my stools. This was on our National Health Service & did not impact my family financially. Grateful to be alive in Britain.

#ColonCancerAwareness month almost over. The ostomate community has self generated support, from local peer group meetings to a national quarterly magazine. 1/360 apx = 3/1000, the proportion of ostomates / stomatics in the UK population and greater public awareness would be A GOOD THING.
