Lowering it is easy, just spin the crank and watch gravity do the rest. I run a 32" above it and a 21" on it, although I could put the 32 directly on it if I desired. Two laptops, and all sorts of switches and stuff. I also use a desk treadmill with it, which has been great.

I use some generic one off Amazon, have used it since 5/21, so 3 years of the same desk now. It's not electric, so it has a hand crank to raise the desk. I think this leads to less failure as I've had to reboot the work one before. I paid $99 which was a steal but it's not available now.
