The lack of noise pollution was one of my favorite things about living in the mountains in Colorado 🙌

For someone with #anxiety that decade of my life was the most peaceful, by far 🙏

I really struggle with noise pollution. People who are not affected do not realize the harm it causes. It affects my mental and physical health. I nearly went mad after decades of living in a city where noise just increased and increased all the time.

I now live in a farm community. Very quiet.

Totally get it 🙏

Both of my parents grew up in Brooklyn - moved to the burbs in Jersey after they got married.

Most of my cousins COULD NOT understand how I could live so “far removed” from society… it would’ve driven THEM nuts… but being surrounded by noise & chaos 24/7 drives ME nuts 🤷‍♀️
