What is the impact of voting Third Party? Well, Trump would never have become President in 2016 had simply half the third-party voters in selected states voted for whoever the second-place candidate was in their states.

If half the third-party voters in 2016 had voted for whoever the second-place candidate was in their state, the following states would have gone the other way.

Clinton would have won Florida
Trump would have won Maine
Clinton would have won Michigan

If half the third-party & "other" voters in 2016 had just voted for the second-place Major Party candidate (cont):

Trump would have won Minnesota
Trump would have won Nevada
Trump would have won New Hampshire
Clinton would have won Pennsylvania
Clinton would have won Wisconsin

And the result of the election would have been that Clinton would have won 279-252. Donald Trump would not have become President in 2016.

One thing I've learned since 2016: "None of the Above" will never take the oath of office.

Even if you don't like either major party candidate, as was the case for me in 2016 (and I actually do like Biden), one of them is going to win. And one of them is worse than the other.
