Interesting result. I remember reading elsewhere that Vit D supplementation carried health benefits for those who were deficient but not for those who had enough. Germans like other Northern Europeans probably suffer Vit D deficiency every winter, but still, we should be careful when extrapolating.

Too much can give you kidney problems. I think you have to be careful with vitamins ADE and K if I'm remembering correctly.
