I think I just have to accept that social media now is like the time after high school when all your friends go off to different schools and you’re never all together in the same place again but you still see each other and it’s still great in its own way.

I'm now mostly going directly to quality news sources, unmediated by social media, which has been refreshing...like going back to reading newspapers. I also follow @NotNPR & @NewsBot here.

I've been going directly to The Guardian, NPR News, NY Times, WaPo, SF Chronicle (mostly via their apps).

Yes, they did. But Post iwas confusing for me. I still like BBC, Deutsche Welle, Al Jazeera for international news. US news is harder because so much is opinion pretending to be facts.
