just keep you fingers crossed that it didn´t culminate too early and that interested third parties, e.g. Saudis by manipulating the oil prices, don´t throw a wrench in their plans

That's always a threat! GW Bush, the first was up around 80 percent approval in the polls after the first Gulf War. Then we had a recession, and he became a one-term president. After being up to 80 % approval!

But I think Biden is in a better place & most infrastructure spending is still coming.
