Just sitting here remembering how utterly consumed with dread I was in 2020 and how good it felt in November after Biden came and saved the day. I'm gonna miss that guy when he's no longer President in 2029.

It was the beginning of restoring some faith. Biden’s refusal to participate in the election drama was also reassuring.

100%! I literally cried when the Orange Buffoon got elected. We’d run off to the woods as the election neared to a the chaos ( we live in a very red state). Hubby held me close to break the news, and I just broke down. Such a relief in 2020- we ran off to the woods for that one too!

I think by 2020 I had become desensitized and truly expected the worst. I wouldn't allow myself to feel any relief until the night Biden was inaugurated. And even then, because of the January 6th events, my joy was muted.

He’s done a damn fine job, looking at it from afar.

I think even our conservative government, which the previous government here was at the time, were pleased that didn’t have to deal with the other guy anymore.

Who do you think should be his Democrat successor in 2028?

The only answer is the sitting Vice President, Kamala Harris.
