Cruise ships 👎

Still petri dishes for spreading #COVID & other diseases among passengers onboard, with woefully inadequate (yet nevertheless wildly expensive) medical services onboard.

I'm very unlikely to, either, but I cannot even imagine what kind of risk-benefit analysis would lead someone to decide it's a good vacation idea *right now* to take their elderly parent [😳] as well as their kids all together on a cruise. But people are doing precisely that. 🤷‍♀️

We swore them off after that incident about 15 years ago, where a cruise line got stuck at sea AFTER everyone on board got sick, the plumbing was backed up, and…well, eww.
