Looking for white women who understand the work we need to do and the harm our privilege has done.

While I recognise my (not exactly easy) life has definitely not been made any worse due to the colour of my skin, I'm not convinced connecting with other white women is the way to make things better... Surely diversifying your network is a much better plan?

In order for things to change, white women have to do the work. We have to acknowledge what is and the harm that has been done. This isn't about shame. It is about change. Too often there is a lack of understanding and unconscious bias.

Not disputing the need to change or reduce the harm done - just not convinced that any work we need to do can be truly useful if we continue to form white focus groups. Seems a bit... counter intuitive. That's just me though.

I am not interested in focus groups. I live in them. I am looking at putting a non-profit together to advocate for this issue.
