I disagree. I also don't like certain rhetoric, but that doesn't mean that Starmer's programme isn't a solid, centre-left one. There was an interesting article on the Guardian, covering Labour's policies https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2023/jan/04/keir-starmer-government-labour-leader

I mean even GB Energy just seems to be another provider, and all Rachel Reeves has committed to doing is keeping energy prices at their current levels.

I mean, what's the point? The lack of any ambition tells you a lot about these people.

At this point, I'm not even sure what we are supposed to assume are actual policies, because I see them referring to them as "pledges" and we know how that turned out last time.

But I honestly think this is straight down the centre at best, there is no socialist aspect to any of this.
