For the record, the US would be better off with two real governing parties rather than tolerate one focused on stoking empty outrage to drive social media mentions, refusing to condemn support for white nationalists and insisting “wokism” is the end of human civilization.

I no longer feel the two-party system is serving us. We’d need at least six parties, at a minimum, to reflect the diversity of public opinion. Ranked-choice voting everywhere, combined with abolishing the electoral college, might produce a truer expression of American democracy.

Democrats are now the gold standard in political coalitions. There is no rival. People don't understand that there's a bunch of political parties, we're not a two party system, it's just that one party evolved by leaps and bounds over their unserious, fraudulent, lunatic competition.
