1-Don't freeze.
2-Don't ignore the word racism.
3-Say something that acknowledges that it's not right that it happened +/or you're sorry it happened.
Validate, not interrogate.
4-Ask if person is ok & how they can be supporte

5-Understand that impersonal racism is manifestation of systemic racism & structural power, not "just one mean person".
6-Know the difference between racism and prejudice.
7-Examine whiteness as the norm of society.
8-Learn about racist stereotypes, how they've emerged+manifest in interactions.
