I thought I read about a summer bulb you can plant which might bloom in the Fall. Is that a thing?

Lycoris squamigera- surprise lilies/naked ladies. They send up leaves early spring, die back, then magically sport a stem in summer with a pink lily in August.

We are the third generation to enjoy these at lake house, but I'm unsure what will happen because of drought this year.
