New #foodwars subject: BBQ. Nothing holds a candle to slow and low cooked meat Texas style.

I’m the only remaining bbq fan in the house so I’ve never been to the original Lockharts; however, their storefronts in North Texas are alway my number 1 pick plus the sides are always delicious!

The best BBQ places in Texas are the ones you have to travel further from the interstate for. Pappas, Spring Creek, and Dickie's ain't it.

I can only speak for my hometown of Galveston. Leon's BBQ has some of the best pork ribs I ever tasted. They do a good job of knocking you out, too.

I haven’t been to Galveston in years but I’m going to add this to my list of things to do when the heat breaks! (Aka Thanksgiving)

There's a new eatery that just opened called Coop's. Haven't been there yet, but it has garnered lots of positive reviews.

Neat-O! Yes, please hit up those two places if you ever make it down here. But don't just stop in Galveston. There are many in and around the Houston area as well.
