The ONLY negative conversation we should be having about John Fetterman announcing he checked into a hospital for depression is that millions of Americans can’t afford or are too ashamed to do the same. Get well soon, Senator.

And that Mitch and Diane won’t seek healthcare and stubbornly stay on when they are in dire need. That fetterman is a shining example to us all to seek help and not be ashamed.

It maddening that seeking mental healthcare can count against someone seeking other services. Looking forward to the day the stigma is removed

Los, that services are impossible to get these days. There is a huge disparity between the reimbursements for health professionals relative to mental health professionals, and as a result, services are hard to get.

For myself, a professional with great coverage, the providers are not there. My guess is, like dentists, they are being stiffed by insurance companies: that barnacle on the corpus of America.

It is. My MIL had one last year and has been depressed. My grandma had one when I was a baby. So I didn’t know about her depression then my family told me she was very depressed for quite awhile. Sad but makes sense.
