In 2015, my org represented the family of Chilean folk singer #VictorJara against one of the military officers responsible for his torture and murder days after the 1973 coup in #Chile . It was a civil case, but the evidence we collected was key to something that just happened

Chile has indicted Pedro Pablo Barrientos, the military officer Victor's family sued with our assistance, and has been awaiting his extradition since 2016. The U.S. has still not deported him. On Friday, after a long wait, a federal judge ordered his U.S. citizenship revoked for fraud.
