Men, you need to pay special attention to this. In my interactions with others over the last 3+years, men seem to exhibit more of the neurological issues.

For me, short term memory loss, time blindness, erratic emotional states, are the biggest. The long term memory loss is harder to see.

I'm only going to say this once:

COVID is an airborne inflammatory disease.

Long COVID affects every part of the body, including the fucking brain.

I thought my eye thing was a fluke. But it's been with me for awhile now. I have instances where it feels like I'm being stabbed in an eye. And yeah, that emotion thing and the memory. Writing code is a nonstarter for me now. Can't focus.

It's hard. I'm sorry you're in this club. 💔

The first sign I had that LC was affecting my brain was forgetting what a fork was. I just sat on the kitchen floor crying. Took over a half hour to finally remember.

My friends pointed out the vocabulary loss. It's devastating.
