The American military-industrial corporation Raytheon, which also produces Patriot systems, has attracted retired engineers to teach younger employees how to build Stinger missiles, which are actively used by the Ukrainian military, Defense One writes.

The United States has delivered about 2,000 heat-seeking Stinger missiles to Ukraine, which were taken from the arsenal of the US armed forces. Ukraine used them to shoot down planes and, according to Defense One, they helped the Ukrainian army survive the early days of the Russian invasion.

Super cool share. Fairly certain my father in law (dec) was part of the team that designed these. He was unable to disclose the specific missiles he worked on, but these sound just like what he described.
