OK, so. I spoke to a senior charge nurse at work who was concerned by symptoms & ECG reads. I was the sent home & asked to call NHS24 for triage & the nurse was concerned enough by symptoms that she insisted on an ambulance.

The paramedics on handover at the hospital related my concerning symptoms & the fact my ECG had been crazy en route to hospital. Was triaged & sent through to major incident receiving ward, which is where you go before a ward or course of action is decided upon.

... to grab a bottle of water because heart doing stoopid things was making me really hot. My fitbit was buzzing at me on the route back due to my heart rate deciding to go up to 140-odd.
