No. Of course the Holocaust has unique, immeasurable impact but we're not talking about people being "militant about preserving what they have"; we're talking about apartheid and taking what others have. How does having parents or grandparents who suffered in any way excuse making others suffer?

I have always said, despite my dislike of any authoritarian racist government, that Israel is somewhat of a special case, you have to look back at history and then realize that most people living there now have parents or grandparents who have suffered. Their stance is then more understandable.

In response to E.G. for Example.
I have always supported Israel. However, I have also watched Israel evolve into a harsh oppressor, doing to the Palestinians what was done to them. Netanyahu's corrupt regime will not stop killing & oppressing until they steal all or most of Palestinian land. He & his supporters are fascists.
