States are blatantly refusing to comply w/federal orders.

Alabama's map
Texas's river barriers

W/O accountability for flagrant violations -- of law; of democratic norms; of congressional subpoenas -- we end up here.

I'll say it again.
No accountability
No rule of law
No democracy

Isn't that Ohio too?

"On July 19, 2022, the Ohio Supreme Court struck down the congressional map as an unconstitutional ... The new maps are to take effect for the 2024 election. Currently, the legislature has not drawn new congressional maps. "

More evidence of the effects of the Trump presidency. Just ignore the law & maybe it will go away.

This is why I don’t think DOJ should have filed suit against Texas. The Administration should have sent federal personnel to dismantle the obstructions. Let Texas file suit. Or let them initiate a physical confrontation. Abbott doesn’t have the guts.

Laws without enforcement aren't laws at all.

Some states are also building up private armies, you don’t think there’s something wrong here? the power invested in the state should be able to be overridden by the White House without question, otherwise, there is too much power at state level.
