#EmmettTill should be 82 today. His mother, Mamie Till-Mobley, ensured that the world saw how gruesomely her 14 year-old child was murdered. Racism isn’t disagreement. Families grieve. Communities mourn. Dreams wither. Humanity suffers. People perish. Remember Emmett Till.

Remember Emmet Till whose life was brutally cut short when someone acted on a lie.

Look at that sweet face. How evil do you have to be to have tortured and murdered that sweet, young boy?

Unfortunately we still have folks that evil here.

I really admire the courage of Mrs Till Mobley. To lose her child like that but still have the strength to do what needed to be done. I don’t think I could have done that. I am so glad she was able to.

we watched a documentary on Mr.Till when I was in highschool...seeing the newspaper photo of this young man in a casket was haunting and infuriating....I wound up going to the bathroom vomiting and then in an unhealthy response punched a hole in the stall...I am so sorry that this ever happened...
