If law enforcement were centering citizen safety we’d have had the ability text 911 since about the year 2000. The fact that the last thing our handheld supercomputers are used for is to keep us safe individually and collectively informs a great deal about our priorities.

My car was on fire, I called 911 and I was put on hold…they never returned to the line. 😒
