I'm convinced that colds last so long because we are forced to try to go to work when we're still sick instead of staying home until we're completely better.

When I got my first cold after a two-year Covid hiatus, I was astonished at how CRAPPY I felt! I used to go to work with a cold - didn't we all?? - but no more. Having said that, though, I'm not sure it resolved any faster staying home.

I didn't have a cold for about 5 years until this year. This is my second in 6 mos and it is horrible. I stayed home 2 days last week and felt like it was getting better. Now, after going back to work, it's getting worse again. I hate it.
