Become familiar with the term “dead pool”; it isn’t a comedy. It’s a reservoir that no longer has enough water to flow downstream of its dam. It means no more hydro-electric power, and/or no water for cities (the water level has dropped below the level of its intakes). The reservoir is then useless.

The world is so frustrating.
If Al Gore had become President, I feel that we would have put into place a lot of systems to counteract climate change.

Talking about this for decades now. We're at a point where we are discussing *water availability*.

At least one estimate says that Lake Powell, the second-largest reservoir in the US, could be a dead pool by the end of this decade.

Lake Mead, the largest resvoir the US, could reach dead pool status by 2025 if current trends continue.
