Do I get it right?
You promote voting
- for the best option of all which has no chance to win,
- instead of a party which represents a sensible option as a springboard to improve further,
- to hand over the win to a party which does not only not care but is INTENT on ruining it all
Aamir Hussain @Azih
We cannot solve problems without first identifying them. We don't have the luxury of myths anymore. #fossilfuels are bipartisan right now and only #progressive politics is fighting it,not the current #Democrat leadership.

It's astounding how your reaction is to build and attack a strawman rather than address any of the points I actually made or that are in the source. This is dishonest.

I am pointing to the effects of your train of thoughts on a political level regarding the circumstances of the US party system. This is not dishonest (don´t you dare use that word again) but a logical consequence.

It is one particular train of thought that is far from the only one and to throw it at me and put words in my mouth rather than engaging with what I actually said is terrible.

I try to paraphrase: you are looking at the big picture and are opting for the best solution.
I point out that best solution is not to be had in a system like yours and that promoting it risks the smaller steps that could realistically be expected to happen.

It's closer to what I'm saying except what I'm also saying is that the current 'smaller steps' aren't good. Fossil fuels were raised under Obama and are rising under Biden. There's a myth that Obama did well by the environment. He did not. Oil companies have their hooks in centrist Dems as well.
