I'm really tired of companies declaring bankruptcy, laying off workers, or both, when cutting executive compensation is all that's needed for them to become profitable again.

Agreed! Why are Americans not outraged at this? This is one of the reasons some countries in Africa have no use or understanding of democracy.

It felt like there was the start of a labor movement during COVID because our definition of "essential worker" was changed. I'm hoping that sentiment doesn't just melt away.
