I’ve realized why all of the badgering about NSFW content is upsetting me…

Sex, in all forms, must be consensual.

Forcing adult content onto those who aren’t specifically seeking it is sexual aggression.

Full stop.

Yup! Been saying this from the start.

Best case scenario, our "Explore" section is filled with "Click to View" content we need to be careful not to click in public.....so then we just feel scared to open that or even our "Timeline" in public.

Very much so...which is why one should draw the line between voluntary sex work and the ugly human trafficking variety. It bothers me that there is no truly safe space for the former online. Had hoped Spoutible could help there but the objections of @cbouzy on why that cannot be so.

If you want to advertise your sex work, is a global platform really the best place? If you want to just talk about sex work, I believe that's allowed as long as it's PG.

You’ve missed my point entirely. I do not want to be scrolling through my timeline or clicking on a post and coming across sexual content. I do not consent to that.
I choose to be on Spoutible because MY choice is respected.
I know where to find NSFW content should I CHOOSE to want it.
