Was wondering when the other shoe would drop. I'm all for a platform that reduces harassment but not at the expense of adult creators or LGBTQ users trying to exist who will inevitably get targeted by the policy vagueness.

Other apps do fine w/o running afoul of Google & Apple. So could Spoutible

1. Allowing adult and explicit content will prevent us from landing certain advertisers.

2. Apple and Google will limit us.

3. Moderating the content is a nightmare.

4. It opens us up to legal liabilities.

5. This is an easy decision for me, and no amount of badgering with change it.

And yes, I realize he has pointed out some specific examples re: trans people that don't fall under this policy.

But it's too vague for so many other practical, harmless applications involving adult content or queer discourse that you could easily as a user filter out.
