1. Allowing adult and explicit content will prevent us from landing certain advertisers.

2. Apple and Google will limit us.

3. Moderating the content is a nightmare.

4. It opens us up to legal liabilities.

5. This is an easy decision for me, and no amount of badgering with change it.

6. NO

A lot of these replies are so gross and ignorant. Some of y’all need to take the time to understand the struggles of SWs. Porn ≠ SW. I’m bummed about the decision about NSFW content here but god damn take a minute to read up on a marginalized group you don’t have a yard sign for.

Are you meaning "the struggles of SWs" as in their receiving rude and/or abusive comments? Because having empathy for a group that endures abuse is one thing, and allowing sexually explicit content in this site is another. I'm not sure which you mean.

Abuse, lack of access, safety, exploitation. There are a lot of comments equating SW to something gross or negative and perpetuating stereotypes. Not seeing a lot of empathy like you mentioned.
