Right???
Men’s sizes are based on width, length, waist, etc. It’s standardized across the clothing industry. Any brand for them is the same. Why not with women?

Menswear is now starting to have the same problems: look at different ‘cuts’ like a euro-style shirt vs straight vs relaxed. And not all brands are keeping the same sizing anymore. I have been having trouble shopping for my teenage son due to this. It’s everywhere now & it sucks!!!

It's certainly not standardized. Being a skinny guy... mediums vary depending on the brand. Not every 30inch pair of pants is the same. European/Asian brands fit me like a glove while American brands of the "same size" fit me like I was dressing for a Kris Kross concert.

FYI I found 28"x32" pants online at Duluth trading company for my son, and since they don't sell many of those, at the time they were 50% off. Nice quality too.

Hmmmm... I wonder... it's like they enjoy making life more difficult for us for no reason. I feel like there's a word for that.... lol

There is! And these decisions were mostly made by men.
