These pills work so well that it really makes you think about how much farther medicine could come if we focused on how things work in women's bodies instead of just testing on men. 🤔

There is actually an NIH directive that requires researchers to include women in drug trials or provide a legitimate excuse for our exclusion. Otherwise, grants may not receive funding.

Agreed. I have published work on the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic diffs that generally exist betweeen men and women, as well as race/ethic diffs. The 1st step to convincing funding agencies to develop drugs specifically for women is to demonstrate diffs in basic research and clinical trials.
