Who else remembers that brief period in March of 2020 when humanity learned we could clear the skies of pollution, and that people could still work toward common goals. This then led to us realizing we could end the flu and most all infectious diseases.

Of course, we then just stopped doing that.

#COVID has hit a low 4 times in the past. During the brief “lockdown”, right before delta, right after omicron, and now. But, I’m sure those other times were a fluke.

I don't think "we then just stopped doing that."
Roughly 30% of the U.S. population listened to a deranged uneducated criminal and his cronies who cast doubt on even the existence of the virus, much less what it would take to protect ourselves.
Clear skies & new business models were side effects

But society has learned quiet a bit since 2020 and really done nothing with it. People used to say things would get better once we could learn enough, but learning doesn’t seem to be the problem. We know, people just don’t care.
