I’m never going to agree to maximum age limits for any elected office.

The VOTER will always decide who represents them.

You want younger?

Find competent candidates with good character who are active in the community they wish to serve.

“Service” is the operative word.

Someone else said, maybe it was you (I forget) that this idea is being pushed by those who can’t get elected. They want to push the ones who can get elected out of the way. If you think about it, it’s a very MAGA mentality—to cheat to get power.

Yes.

I'd love for our government to be more diverse in many ways, including age, but how we get there is by maximizing voter choice by protecting voting rights, and eliminating corruption via campaign finance reform. Not trying to limit voters' choices to get a particular outcome.

The problem with that, even though I'm mostly against age limits, is the older candidate with more connections in the party and the monied Democratic circles is always going to be able to raise more money and these days money wins elections. It's why Kamala had to drop out before the 1st primary.

Age limits won’t change that. Legislation and voters will.
