It's really a click bait title TBH. That $170,000 includes all benefits offered. And according to what I can gather, the $49/hour wage is an avg. I didn't review more detailed breakdowns but I would imagine $49/hour and higher would go to the most senior employees with the highest titles.

$145 and $170K sound way high to me too. You think Forbes accidentally added a “1” to the front of the numbers because they have no idea what real working folks make? I saw a survey of what Harvard Business School students thought the average American made and it was like 6x reality. Gold bubble
